Hey mommies, is daddy's sleep more important? Apparently that is what my sister AND sister-in-law believe.

My husband and I sleep in separately b/c he cant wake early when he sleeps with someone. I do about 90% of the midnight-early morning feedings. However, when I sleep on the couch and he sleeps on the bed, he wakes me when the baby wakes for her feeding! The other night, she woke at 2am and rather than him going to make her a bottle, he felt it necessary to stand next to me with her squealing in her arms until I woke up. Why couldn’t he just do it himself? If I don’t get up to make her a bottle, he calls me lazy! So I vent to my sister about this and she tells me "well, honestly, I think his sleep is more important, b/c he works". I retaliated with “EXCUSE ME? When I held a job, I was STILL doing most of the feedings, and it’s not like I made this baby alone either! He is just as much responsible as I am. Being a parent means less sleep, and that includes the father." I know it is horrible to say, but his lack of support is causing me to hate motherhood!
