I can't get my computer to play msn or pogo games even though I used to be able to. How can I fix it?

The screens open to the loading page but never open the game. On MSN it will say game loading in 0 seconds and never open up. On Pogo it just stays on the advertisement. I have tried deleting temp. files, disk clean up, defragmenting, and disk scan. Sometimes on Pogo the type font changes and an x appears where pictures should be. Sometimes when I download games from MSN it will stop halfway through and say not a win 32 app.

Hello drama mama :) first of all, I'd like to say that I am very sorry and I understand how you feel completely. Remember, you have every right to feel this way, with everything that has happened. My dad always told me that when he was a teenager, there was no such thing as "just friends" between a guy and a girl, especially if they were once intimate with each other. I agree. I have a tri-level. Yesterday morning I came downstairs to discover water two feet out just about all the way around the basement walls. I had a dream about cats. What does it mean?

I had a dream that my mom, my sister, my husband, and I were all taking a vacation in the country, and we were driving around the hills and enjoying the scenery; and we stopped at a shopping plaza to do some errands. We went to a pet store at the plaza and I got a pet mouse, and then all of a sudden a small grey kitten got into the car. I said, "Get the cat out, it will eat the mouse!" So then my husband picked up the kitten and threw it out the window. My mom, my sister, and I were all shocked and worried that the kitten was hurt or killed; and then my mom (who was driving the car) drove away, and we continued to drive along the road in the countryside. About half an hour later, I said, "Maybe we should turn around and go back and see if the cat is okay." My mom didn't want to at first, but then finally my husband and my sister both decided to go back and she turned around, and then I said "No, I don't think we should go back after all" and my mom got frustrated and decided not to go back; and got onto the highway to drive home. I said, "Mom, why didn't you go back for the kitten?" and my mom said, "Because you told me not to!" and I said, "But I made a mistake, I meant for you to go back for the cat." Then when we got back to the house, there were five cats (all adult) sitting in the front yard and staring at us. They were mostly black and white but i think one was all black. I can't remember if it was my house or my mom's.

I'm only 18 and into my second year of college. I'm so tired of being defined by my GPA, what cles I'm taking, or what activities I'm involved in. Right now, I can't even say if what I'm majoring in is what I want to do with the rest of my life. I just feel so lost right now. What should I do? Would it hurt to maybe take a little break from college and see if this is really where I want my life to be headed?

Material on new sofa bleeding! HELP!?

My new sofa and oversized chairs are covered in chocolate brown microfiber. They are situated near a wall where they are leaving markings. I have attempted to use Scotch Guard; however, it states not to use if the color bleeds. One Intelligent reason to Vote for Your candidate? Vote 2008!!!!?

Okay, this is more of a personal reason, but if you apply its importance to the US economy it might help. But maybe not, just being honest. I have always voted Democrat for pres. for one reason and one reason only. Car sales volume/profit are always better when there is a democrat as President. has been this way since we started selling cars. To me personally, my family has owned dealer groups for years, so the car business maintains my livelihood. But on a more national level, the car business maintains the livelihood of a huge percentage of americans. Not just those who build, sell, repair, but those who build sell repair for companies that build, sell, repair, for companies that build, sell, repair for companies....on and on. Get it? Like I said it seems like such a small thing, but in the long run it means a lot to a lot of people. I think Obama will help perpetuate this trend by his economic plans. People with a lot of money will tell you that it is stupid to take money from those with and give to those that don't. We should instead give breaks to those with money and their companies. The thought is this, if we give breaks to companies so they might be more profitable it will trickle down to more jobs, etc. But most of that money just stays at the top. I live off of the money I bring in so I probably will pay more taxes with Obama. I'm okay with that because more people with money means more people buying things which means more demand for companies, products, etc. which creates more jobs which creates more people buying things which makes my pay go up more than it went down from increased taxes. Then it trickles up instead of hoping those at the top have enough moral fiber to trickle it down. I think we see where that gets us on Wall St. right now.

Work on developing an inside/out swing path. Work on getting your hips out of the way as your start your downswing. Most golfers slice the ball because they come "over the top." This happens because they allow their shoulders to turn first in the downswing. At the top of your swing, your first move should be to shift your weight to the left leg (if your right handed). Do this by turning your hips while keeping your shoulders square to the target line. Check your divots. If they are straight down the target line or pointing slightly to the right of the target line, your in good shape. Use another club in front of your feet to help you get square to the target line.

3yr old vomited excrement?

My 3yr old got over a tummy bug four days ago and I disinfected the whole house afterward. she awoke about an hour or so ago and I put her on the toilet where she had a small amount of diarrhea (Which she has had since the tummy bug) which smelled foul...she went back to bed happy enough and then I was awoken with her crying rather hysterically. I found her throwing up in bed. What troubled me was that it smelled exactly like what had come out of the other end not an hour before, and there were black gskins in it, which she had eaten TWO days ago, and little else. She hasn't eaten much today, but she ate fine the day before and yet none of that was in there. Should I call out a doctor in the morning? Could it be the gs are somehow to blame? hahahaha... as long as this dye is safe for animals then I think its okay. So right now, i am a junior in high school, getting ready for college admissions. I want to get into the NC state engineering program. However, that is one of the more challenging majors to get accepted into (high gpa, etc) and i have some doubt about getting in. My question is, would it be safe to apply to another field at NC state, such as textiles or education, which may be easier to get accepted, and then transfer to the engineering field? If your horse seems lethargic or not very energetic i would not be worried. Its probablly just the way he is and if he is like that when you are riding him, wake him up! when i say this i dont mean to just kick him or use cruel methods, what i mean is that you a riding him and that means he should be paying attention and listening to your aids. i dont think feeding him extra grain will really help much because if he already gets fed enough in the morning or night he should have any energy he needs, even if you dont see it when he is standing in his stall. also, if you are taking him to a rodeo he might be a bit more high strung because he is in a new place with unfarmiliar surroundings. hope this helped!

My dogs wind smells horrid? no change to diet..?

My 15 month old bull mastiff has had the worst smelling wind for the last 2 weeks. He has been on antibiotics recently for cysts and an allergic reaction causins allover his skin, we had been advised to cut back on few things that we feed him that may be causing the reaction. We have done this but not added anything to his usual diet of dry kibble with small amounts of meat, eggs, carrot and sometimes potato. He has never been a windy dog apart from when he was a few months old and the food he was fed was had a too high meat content ontop of the meat we gave him. Any ideas of how to stop this or help the foul smell ( very pungent ) and i also think it has a marajuana like hint to it but maybe thats just my hormones due to being pregnant. Thanks alot :)

Calling all vets! Cat question...what do you think of long-term antibiotic therapy?

My cat has bony buildup in his sinus cavity. He is therefore prone to infections from Haemophilus felis, which is normal flora in most cats, but because of his condition the bacteria becomes entwined in the bones. He was on many antibiotics, which didn't work, then when on tetracycline, the infection cleared right up and he stopped snorting and the drainage went away. I gave him the full 14 days worth. A few weeks later, the infection came back. He was put on tetracycline again, and it's went away again. Again he took the FULL prescription I don't want it to keep coming back though, so does anyone know the effects of long-term tetracycline use in cats? I am a microbiologist, so I know it's fine to do in humans (long-term use for acne). And don't say "ask the vet", cause my vet is an idiot, I am the one who cultured my cat, and told the vet the proper medication I needed. And please don't say "ask a different vet" because there are none in my area. Thanks so much!

I am due with my second child in March. We have decided this is the last child that we want. I am considering getting my tubes tied. I was just wanting some positive and negative feedback on this. A friend of mine said that all women that get this done have to have a hysterectomy within a few years. Since I am only 24 I really don't want to go thru all of that at such a young age. I found this in the attic of our garage. It is stamped "LEFT" and "BOBBY HULL MODEL" and has his signature above it. Do you know if they made sticks with his signature stamped on it in stores? i am looking into starting a business that has a good purpose behind it. i want to help keep teens off of meth and other drugs. My balsa wood tower isn't leveled?

Nice cage but I wouldve made it higher and put a big tree branch where she can get up high they like to climb . how big is the cage but it's good if it's just a baby . it's gonna be hard to keep humidity inside the cage. What you can do is mist her like 2 - 3 times a day it helps alot with shedding while she's basking under her heat lamp . maybe some rocks would be nice to put under her baskin . I'm not sure about fake plants and stuff like that not that I use it but I wouldn't cause I'm scared they might eat it . and maybe if you cann put a bowl of water where she might want to drink or swim in but you're gonna have to clean it cause they like to poop in it . I just purchased a Green Iguana. She is tiny right now and I have her in a 20 gallon. I realize it is too small but I wanted to do some research before purchasing something larger next week. The people at the pet store are clueless so I was wondering what to house it in. I know they like to climb and I have seen those giant terrariums that are tall rather than long and have trees and stairs, I just wasn't sure if that was right or if I should just use a 55 gallon for a while. 99 Taurus trans problem???? See details?

Hello, all, this is my very first question and I really hope someone can help. I bought a 99 Taurus a couple of days ago. Sometimes the speedomer works and sometimes it doesn't, when it doesn't the miles do not roll over. The car drove perfectly during the test drive. Today, I drove it and the trans would not shift out of first. It will shift fine into drive and reverse. When the problem first started it was kind of jerky, in and out of gear, now it won't change at all from first. When I pushed the gas really hard and got the rpms up, it shifted hard into second. Do I need another trans or is there a simple fix?

However, I would say that if you thawed meat in your refridgerator, you can refreeze the meat and still have it safe. Though, color, taste and texture may be slightly different. I would only recommend thawing and refreezing if you are prepping meals in advance and can't work with the meat in a frozen state when embling the meals.

I yesterday morning to find my right ear has a pressure buildup in it. I cant get it to pop, so everything sounds funny and its really getting annoying. My left one is working fine though. I had a cold a couple days ago but now i can breath just fine, better than ever in fact, but i cant get my right ear to pop and its been 10 hours or more. I had been fired from a job I worked at for 8 months, I had never been written up never warned or anything no disiplinary action.Infact i was constantly promoted I was a server/bartender/shiftleader in a restaurant that was taken over by corporate..when the claims specialist called me he said that my old boss said i was fired over two write ups, that never even occured one on the 17th of july and one on the 29th of july, mind you my last day of work was july 25th so right there is obviously a lie...(there was many more lies they told but that does not need to be discussed) anyways the claims specialist believes me hes making them send him the write ups to see if I had signed a write up then I told him they might have tried to forge my signature since they already lied about pretty much everything...and he said i should send him my signature to compare....IF INFACT THEY FORGED MY SIGNATURE WHAT CAN I DO TO RETALIATE?? I was one of their best employees and I was very wrongly fired. and because they cant tell the truth its delaying my unemployment ruining my credit.

Actually I just did this, well sorta except we had to use songs that would relay to what was happening in a certain scene/act. Well a couple songs I used were: Falling by Iration because well I was explaining the scene where he falls in love with her at the party and in the song they meet at a concert and he falls in love etc. Also another good song for that is trouble- by nevershoutnever. Why does my computer randomly freeze up?

I don't have this problem with my laptop but only with my desktop, admittedly it is an old machine as I've had it since the middle of 2001 but I use it as a server or storage computer with lots of hard drives both external and internal connected to it. I can be doing some word processing or surfing in the internet and it just freezes up completely and you have to restart it which can be annoying, why does this happen? it seems to be in perfect working condition other than that and is pretty quick for its age.

OK so... I just realized I haven't eaten a single thing today and its 1:18am. I have been pretty sleepy all day so I guess I just haven't had an appetite until now. I have bread, chips, crackers, tortilla shells (flour), & saltines. i have lunch meat, eggs, tuna, and canned salmon. I have olive oil but no veg oil. I have Milk, and lots of different cheeses (cheddar, imported sharp from Ireland, mozzarella, a Parmesan blend, etc.) Lots of spices and seasonings, I have caned veggies and frozen veggies. I have some FROZEN ground beef.. Chicken/Beef broths.. I have a lot. So use your imagination. I want a recipe I can't just go by "you could try mixing this with that" and such.. I'm not wasting my food to find out it was just a taste test experiment.
