Using my friends obviously already used vibrator?

I know it sounds a little unsettling...but, if washed thoroughly well, is it safe to use a vibrator that someone else has already used? I'm gay so I plan on using it on my while my friend is female (and she has used it on her and ). I know for a fact that she does not have any ually transmitted disease...but other than that...is it a bad idea?
