Unfortunately, I would suggest you throw away what you had in the freezer as you can't guarantee it is safe. However, I would say that if you thawed meat in your refridgerator, you can refreeze the meat and still have it safe. Though, color, taste and texture may be slightly different. I would only recommend thawing and refreezing if you are prepping meals in advance and can't work with the meat in a frozen state when embling the meals.
