NO, I saw a film of him speaking at the UN with a fire in his heart trying to protest the infiltration of outside interests in his country. He was for the little guy but the big thugs took him out who have other interests in mind. His legacy will be different depending on the source. I saw a pion in his eye coming from a deep concern for the trampled on citizen, not an eye of greed or powerlust.
