Foot Powder in a Salad...? Eww!?

So my friend was telling me her mom put foot powder in her salad and I thought it was the grossest thing ever!! Has anyone ever heard of someone doing this or anything similar? Or Can you think of any benifits of doing thiss? Thanks!
