Fuel for the fire..uhh?

If your horse seems lethargic or not very energetic i would not be worried. Its probablly just the way he is and if he is like that when you are riding him, wake him up! when i say this i dont mean to just kick him or use cruel methods, what i mean is that you a riding him and that means he should be paying attention and listening to your aids. i dont think feeding him extra grain will really help much because if he already gets fed enough in the morning or night he should have any energy he needs, even if you dont see it when he is standing in his stall. also, if you are taking him to a rodeo he might be a bit more high strung because he is in a new place with unfarmiliar surroundings. hope this helped!
